Cacciatore A Tiger

Today I was reminded why I would never survive being a pre-school teacher.  I had a great morning helping in Mikayla's class but I cannot imagine maintaining the patience to do it EVERY day.  Don't get me wrong, the kiddos were very good.  And I enjoyed helping them, listening to what they had to say and watching them do things for themselves and figure it all out.  But I don't think I could do it day in and day out.  I have nothing but mad respect and a thankful heart to Kayla's teachers (and all other teachers out there!) after my trip to school this morning.  I'm already signed up to help in a few more week and both the Bean and I are looking forward to it.

In other news, due to another goofy start time (Dear MLB, 4pm is not a good time for a play-off game.  Just saying) we had a Tigers dinner party here tonight.  We celebrated National Chicken Caciatore Day and it was an overwhelming success.  Mom, used your '20 minute' recipe and everyone here loved it - including the chef who so appreciates a dish that comes together in less time than it takes to walk to the bus stop and back :)

You'll have to excuse the short post again tonight - the game is on, we're trying to get kiddos bathed and the next two weeks are just crazy busy in general.  So until tomorrow...

Last night after I posted the kiddos decided we needed to try out our new Halloween jello molds

After school we got out the play-doh for awhile

Noah builds away while the game was on before dinner

 Happy National Chicken Cacciatore Day!

 Tiger Dinner Party!

Tiger striped marshmallows for dessert (have to show our team spirit of course!)
