Today is Curried Chicken day. We decided to pass on that one :-p Instead, we're celebrating this week's food (yes, just as the whole month is some certain things, this week just happens to have its own celebratory food as well) which is a huge favorite around here - pizza! And what better way to celebrate pizza then with some new friends :)
While we absolutely love living here in Michigan, it's been kind of tough finding friends that were as wonderful as the group (shout out to the Florida Family!) that we had established in Melbourne. Our situation is completely different then it was when we first moved to Florida and we have more than just Grant and I to consider now. So we are THRILLED to have struck up a friendship with Noah's friend from school, Jonathon's, family. Tonight, Phil, Jen, Hannah and Jonathon came over to help us 'celebrate' with some homemade pizza. I am so thankful that we are getting to know all of them and that they came over to hang out for awhile tonight. It was great to let the kiddos all play together and I relished some truly adult interaction and conversation :) Here's to hoping that the newly minted friendship sticks and continues to grow because we really enjoyed all of them!
