TGIF

Seriously glad this week is over.  Not sure why exactly but it was an exhausting one!  Maybe next week will be a little more tame.  I need at least one more 'normal' week before we start the whole school countdown thing.  Really don't think I'm ready for that one yet...

The kiddos and I went and saw Mr. Popper's Penguins this morning, super cute!  I'm not a huge Jim Carrey fan (though I don't have a personal ax to grind with him like my Mom does) but I still highly enjoyed the movie.  And the kids loved it.  Mikayla has been talking about the pooping penguins non-stop.  Love the 'highlights' or the movie they take away.

We also got the spacers pulled up on the tile and I'm hoping to grout tonight after the concert downtown.  It's not too big of a space so I don't think it'll take me that long.  (Famous last words, I know)

It's also National Rice Pudding Day so of course we had to celebrate.  Grant actually tried it hot of the stove last night and then again cold as dessert for dinner tonight and declared it yummy either way.  Not really one of my personal favorites, I am much more looking forward to banana splits and s'mores tomorrow!

Hoping for a relaxed weekend.  Grant and the kiddos are going to build Planes tomorrow morning (at Lowe's from the new movie) and then tomorrow afternoon we're all headed to the park for a cook-out and some s'more feasting!  Should be fun.  Until then...

Mom - I had to try out the jello bean mold right away :)

They were kind of a pain to unmold but the kids LOVED them.  No joke - Kayla ate at least 30 of them

I love Friday's because my wonderful husband is always thoughtful enough to bring me home flowers since he knows how much I like having fresh flowers in the house.  I had a vase with a pretty pink ribbon already and couldn't resist sharing a picture
