Perfect Chocolate

Did you know that parfait means perfect in French?  So Happy National Perfect Chocolate Day :) In France, parfaits are usually a frozen dessert, and it is more of an American variation to have the layered pudding/yogurt treat that first came to my mind.  Further, it is a Northern US thing to layer it with 'crunchy' layers between the pudding.  And now you know, the rest of the story ;-)

We're about to head out here pretty quick to go meet up with Shell and Dudley but I at least wanted to post our parfait pictures.  You can count on a post later from Grant about the trip to Kensington Farm today that he and Noah went on.

Check back tomorrow to see about my truffle battle.  Until then...

Chocolate parfaits!

This was our chocolate parfait breakfast - overnight chocolate oatmeal (who knew you could put oatmeal in milk with any variation of spices/fruit you want, leave it in the fridge overnight and wake up to yumminess!) with peanut butter yogurt layers, topped with peanuts and marshmallows
