Fall Saturday's = Happy Kristi

Saturday's during the Fall have always been among my favorite. How could it get any better than the smells of fall, lots of cooking and college football? Toss in a Michigan win and an Ohio State loss and it just doesn't get much better than that :)

Mikayla and I went to another music and movement class at the library while Grant took Noah to build a helicopter at the Home Depot this morning. We then all met back at the house in time to watch Michigan trounce Minnesota. Both Grant and I were productive today getting some things crossed off the house 'to do' list. I (finally) finished the border in the playroom (happy dance!) which was huge for me. We ended the day with a trip to buy a new coffee pot (apparently the last one didn't handle the move very well and had been turning itself and on for the last couple of weeks and this morning it just decided it wasn't turning back on anymore. Huge problem for two adults that require their morning java to function ;-) )

The Sanders are coming in to visit tomorrow so hopefully we'll have lots of cute pictures to share. Until then...

The finished border in the playroom (I am so thrilled with how it turned out!)

Two loaves of bread, cookies and a pot of chicken noodle soup later...

Noah was so proud of his apron he wore it all day
