Noah's Christmas Program

Sorry we're a bit behind on getting the pictures up from yesterday's program but it is a little nutso around Casa de Gatchel right now.  Tomorrow we are leaving for our whirlwind Christmas adventure so we have been busy (and by we, I mean I) cleaning, doing laundry, packing, organizing and just making sure we are ready to head out in general.  Trips are hard enough to plan for, but throw in two kiddos and the Holiday season and it's absolutely insane.  Plus, because nothing ever happens easily around here, we're apparently heading into quite the snow storm.  Prayers for our safe travels would be much appreciated.

But back to yesterday!

I was one pretty proud Mama yesterday watching my very handsome four year old in his Christmas program.  It made me think how much he's grown since last year's program.  Remember?  There he is, same outfit and everything but looking oh so much bigger.  And it was at that moment that I wanted to yell "STOP! No more growing up!"  Just kidding.  Mostly.

Mom and Dad joined us again this year and we were most thankful to have them.  After the program we went and did some shopping and then made a trip to Hamtramck for some Polish goodies for Christmas day.  It is safe to say that I don't think that Hamtramck was what any of us were expecting.  But we did find Polish food!  And a Polish bakery!  So we'll chalk it up to a success ;-)

We'll be traveling tomorrow but I hope to have some pictures up of some of our adventures over the next few days soon!
