Founder's Day Fun

Today's an update in pictures for the most part.  We spent our day at the Farmington Founder's Festival.  We started with the parade this morning, shopped and perused after, then back in the afternoon for a "Princess Party" with Elsa from Frozen and then more checking out the whole festival.  It was so much fun!!  The kids had a great time and were (for the most part) troopers about all the walking we did.  I threw together a quick dinner and now they're watching "Honey, I Blew Up The Kid" for the evening.  (You may remember that the baby takes on Vegas in one scene - see, I managed a Nevada connection today!)

We're at Orchard for the VBS wrap-up in the morning and then not quite sure what the rest of the day looks like.  Couple of ideas, but we're kind of in flux this weekend (long story...) so we'll just be playing it by ear.  But until then....

Nevada Fun Fact of the Day:  The longest running show in Las Vegas is the Follies Bergere at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino. It opened in 1959. The production numbers in "Showgirls" were written specifically for the Paul Verhoeven film and shot in the Horizon Hotel at Lake Tahoe. The bulk of the movie used locations located at the Luxor and the Forum Shops at Caesars

The girls were invited on stage and Elsa even asked some of them some questions directly.  The Bean answered twice!
