In Michigan, "D" is for "Detroit." Today I (Grant) took the day off of work to take the kids downtown and explore the largest city in Michigan and the 18th largest in the nation (but was 4th in it's glory days). It was a chilly, wet, and overcast day, but we waited out the rain and found ourselves a parking spot, then headed off on foot. Included in our tour was the Riverwalk, GM Ren Cen, Comerica Park, Grand Circus Park, Campus Martius, and of course the People Mover. Below are some of my favorite pics of the day.
This one's for the Illinois folk: The man in this statue is the reason why we got an extra Monday off of school every year.

Sadly the temps were in the mid- to upper- 60s, so no splashing around today :-(
