On Wednesday Noah's class went on a field trip to the Kensington Farm Cetner at Kensington Metropark about a half hour away. It was a beautiful day for a field trip. Our guide was terrific with the kids and taught them all about the animals on the farm, what they did, and really did a good job keeping their attention (at least while the barnyard smell was kept at bay). We met horses, cows, pigs, goats, chickens, and sheep and maybe a donkey or two. When the tour was over, they made puppets out of paper bags and cutouts of sheep, then they got to glue REAL sheep's wool onto them. The snack, of course, was animal crackers :-P
Mary the horse
Alice the cow
The chicken laid green eggs! (not kidding!)
This baby lamb is only a week old
